tag paintball & ipg

Posted by: Martin on July 2, 2009

If you’ve been past any of the major shopping malls in Wellington this week you may have seen some stalls promoting paintball.

These guys are the International Paintball Group, and we have partnered with them in Wellington to promote paintball to a wider audience. These guys are providing a sales presence, and people will get the opportunity to come play on one of our exciting fields.

So if you see the guys out and about then be sure and say “Hi” – and hopefully we’ll see you on the field soon!

new toys

Posted by: Martin on April 21, 2009

Part of the plan for us has been to improve the experience players have when on the field with TAG Paintball.

To help in that we’ve been working with an overseas supplier on upgrading all of the equipment on the field.  And we’re pleased to announce that the wait is over and all the new gear has arrived!

What does this mean for you?

Well we have brand new goggles on the field – all of which are proper thermal lenses, meaning they won’t fog up like people might have found when they’ve played previously at our field and others around the country.

The new guns – BT4 Combats – are now standard on the TAG playing field – and something that you would normally find as an upgrade on other fields.  We’ve even got a couple of Apex Barrel systems available as an upgrade – which can give you another 30M of range when shooting on the field.

There are some other minor things – like Paint Grenades and Chest Armour for the ladies – to find out more please don’t hesitate to drop us a line or make a booking!
