What you need to know

So you’re ready to take the plunge and come play paintball.  Awesome – well here are a couple of things that you probably want to know about playing with us at TAG Paintball.  Call it a quick summary of the most common questions we get on the phone or email.

If we don’t answer that burning question in your head here, then please check our FAQs or feel free to drop us a line via the contact page.

Session Times

  • We run sessions at both our fields at: 9.30am / 12pm / 2.30pm / 5pm (daylight savings time only)
  • Sessions run for two hours and you can expect to play between 4 & 6 different games in that time.
  • Minimum group size of 8 player – and we can cater for upto 50.
  • If you want a completely private session you’ll need 25 paying players.
  • We will look to put groups together (the more players the more fun), but only if they are of a similar age (so no groups of just adults playing with kids, etc)
  • Deposits are required. (Blog post here; Deposit & Cancellations Policy here)

What we provide

  • Semi-automatic paintball gun & fullface protection paintball mask
  • Camoflauge playing shirt (no pants, sorry) + FREE chest protector (for the ladies / $5 for the wimps)
  • Extra Paintball harness (if you get our Silver package or higher)
  • Lots of fun.

What to bring

  • Old comfortable clothes (we provide shirts) – the paint washes out, but you might get a bit dirty playing. We DO NOT provide Overalls or Pants …
  • Good shoes  – now we don’t mean dress shoes, but something with some traction is a good idea. Some people have said that rugby or football boots worked well for them.
  • Payment – we accept Cash, EFTPos, Visa and Mastercard.
  • A sense of fun.

What not to bring

  • Your own paintballs.  TAG Paintball is a Field Paint Only site. (If we find paintballs we didn’t give you in the guns you’ll be asked to leave without a refund – sorry about that, but it’s like taking your own food to a restaurant)
  • Alcohol. (We don’t mind if you want a drink after the games, but generally speaking alcohol & firearms don’t mix)
  • A bad attitude – we’re all here to have fun.
